Hello, hello, hello!
So I actually wrote one of these posts almost a year ago now, and I feel like a follow up is in order! I loved writing the post, the post got good views, and I’ve got plenty of products that I’ve been influenced to try, so why not?!
Without furtherado, we’ve got a lot of products to get through, so let’s gooooo…
I actually bought this set (Play It Cool) on Boxing Day through a blogger’s affiliate link. It had gone down to £10 in the sale, and for three liquid lipstick minis? That’s not bad! So, I thought why not and took the plunge. And OH. MY. GOD. This is the BEST liquid lipstick that I have ever tried.
I was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to the hype but, boy, was I wrong! If anything, I think they deserve more hype! I cannot believe that for just £10 (usually £20 which is good anyway!) I got three liquid lipstick minis that are all great colours, with the best formula that I have ever tried.
So, here’s your public service announcement that Stila is a CRUELTY FREE brand and their products are INCREDIBLE and their liquid lipstick is the BEST.
As Louise is an ‘influencer’ herself, it seems only right that I was persuaded to buy her book by other influencers! I actually absolutely adore this book, and it is DEFINITELY worth the hype!!
Ok, I’ll admit it, I am a total false lash stinge. I always try and get the cheapest ones possible because I don’t wear them very often so hate to spend too much on them. However, a few weeks ago I was going out and realised I didn’t have any lashes, so popped to my local ASDA and instantly recognised the name Ardell Wispies from hundreds of blog posts and YouTube videos. After a quick check, I realised that Ardell are also cruelty free, so decided to splash on them and give them a go.
Not to be dramatic or anything, but they have changed my life. They’re so fluttery, and long and beautiful and I just want to wear them every single day. 100% worth the hype (and I’d 100% recommend!!).
Yup, seriously. To be honest, it’s recommendations from other bloggers that made me buy my MacBook. I bloody love it and I made the right decision, but it was completely down to the hype, lol.
If you haven’t heard about this, where have you been?! Ever since Holly Boon’s Video, this bad boy has been ALL OVER my social feeds; people are just loving it! In fact, people are loving it that much that it’s sold out in most stores, wow.
So, when I saw it in a train station Superdrug, I simply had to pick it up! Upon first application, I was a little worried by how thick the formula is as I was worried that it wouldn’t blend very well. However, this wasn’t an issue and it blended out just as I expected! To be honest, I can completely see why this product is getting ALL the hype as the coverage is just incredible, and no other drugstore brand could beat it for sure! But, I’m not completely sure that I love the whole full-coverage look for every day, so this is in my special occasion makeup bag for now.
As a big-boobied gal, I never thought I’d be able to find a bralet for me. However, I saw these being hyped about on twitter and I just HAD to get one. Since, I’ve found quite a few bralets that I love and that fit me, but this one was the first so I had to give it a little shoutout.
The must-have for every insta-fashion-influencer, I’m sure. Seriously though, I’ve been seeing these all over the gram, and that meant that I simply HAD to get one of my own when I saw this beauty in topshop. To be fair, this is the perfect jacket for me because it’s the kind of jacket that goes with anything, is soft and warm, and instantly makes an outfit look put-together. I approve!
Ok, I see why these fragrances appear on everyone’s instagram because they are beaut-i-fulllllllllll. They also smell incredible, and instagram engagement loves them, so totally win-win.
I feel like December 2017 was the TIME for the tassle earring to make a come back. So, obviously, in true blogger fashion, I just HAD to get a pair of my own! These ones are from peacocks and they’re super pretty, and they make me feel like a sassy queen. I approve of this trend for sure.
This is one of those palettes that promises everything, and just doesn’t deliver. I saw this palette everywhere and I HAD to have it. I mean, I see why it was everywhere because it’s beautiful, but the actual shadows just aren’t worth it. They’re chalky, lack pigment, and the shimmers do not live up to the hype at all. It’s a no from me, soz.
Ok, so I didn’t technically buy this, I was sent it, BUT I saw this product allllll-over the blogs that I follow, and for good reason too! I bloody love this brand and these products, I couldn’t recommend them more.
